Third-Party Platforms: With your authorization, our AI agents may interact with third-party platforms including LinkedIn, Product Hunt, X (Twitter), Reddit, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Google PMAX, and other marketing platforms.
Advertising Platforms: If you use Scout7 to create or manage advertising campaigns, we may share your Brand Assets (logos, trademarks, ad creatives, copy, videos, and other marketing materials) with third-party advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, X (Twitter) Ads, and Pinterest Ads on your behalf. See Section 13 for details.
Service Providers: We may share information with trusted service providers that assist us with hosting, analytics, payment processing, customer support, security monitoring, and professional services such as legal and accounting.
Portfolio and Marketing Use: We may use deliverables generated through the Services on your behalf for Scout7's marketing, portfolio, case study, and demonstration purposes, including identifying you or your brand by name or logo. You may opt out of this use at any time. See Section 15 for details.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required to comply with applicable law or legal process.

Transactional, accounting, and referral data may be retained for up to seven (7) years.
When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

We use reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. AI-Generated Outputs and Data Usage
Scout7 processes data you submit (including prompts, URLs, feedback, and other Contributions) through proprietary algorithms, machine learning models, and automated systems to generate insights, recommendations, creatives, and other outputs ("Outputs").
Data we process in this context includes:
- Content, prompts, and data you submit to the Services
- Publicly available online information and digital signals analyzed by the Services
- Platform-level data from third-party sources
How we use this data:
- To generate Outputs for your use in accordance with our Terms of Service
- To improve, train, and refine our AI models and systems using aggregated or anonymized data
- To maintain and enhance the accuracy, quality, and functionality of the Services
You acknowledge that Outputs are produced through automated systems and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or context-dependent. Scout7 retains all rights in its underlying technology, models, and methodologies, and in any aggregated or anonymized data derived from the Services. You are granted a limited license to use Outputs for your internal business purposes, subject to the prohibited uses described in our Terms of Service.
Scout7 does not use AI-generated Outputs to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without human review.
13. Advertising Platform Data Sharing
If you use Scout7 to create, manage, or launch advertising campaigns, you authorize Scout7 to share your Brand Assets and campaign data with third-party advertising platforms ("Ad Platforms") on your behalf. This may include:
- Brand Assets shared: Logos, trademarks, product images, ad creatives, copy, videos, and other marketing materials
- Ad Platforms receiving data: Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, X (Twitter) Ads, Pinterest Ads, and other advertising networks
- Campaign data: Performance metrics, targeting parameters, budget information, and analytics
Each Ad Platform is an independent data controller with its own privacy policy and data practices. Scout7 does not control how Ad Platforms process your data once it has been submitted to their systems. You should review the privacy policies of any Ad Platforms used in connection with the Services.
You may revoke this authorization at any time by discontinuing the use of advertising features within the Services or by contacting us at privacy@scout7.ai. Revocation does not affect data already submitted to Ad Platforms.
14. Confidential Information
In connection with the Services, each party may receive or have access to information that is confidential or proprietary to the other party ("Confidential Information"). Scout7 treats Confidential Information in accordance with the confidentiality obligations set forth in our Terms of Service.
Our commitments regarding your Confidential Information:
- We hold your Confidential Information in strict confidence
- We do not disclose it to third parties except as expressly permitted in our Terms or with your prior written consent
- We use it solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services
- We protect it using at least the same degree of care we use for our own confidential information
Exceptions: Confidential Information does not include information that is publicly available, was already known to the receiving party, was independently developed, or was received from a third party without restriction.
We may disclose Confidential Information when required by law, regulation, or court order, with prompt written notice to you where legally permitted. Confidentiality obligations survive termination of the Services for three (3) years.
15. Portfolio and Showcase Use
Scout7 may use deliverables generated through the Services on your behalf ("Client Work") for its own marketing, promotional, portfolio, case study, and demonstration purposes. This includes the right to:
- Display Client Work on Scout7's website, social media channels, sales materials, and investor presentations
- Identify you or your brand by name, logo, or trademark in connection with such use
- Describe the nature of the services provided
Your right to opt out: If you do not wish for your Client Work or brand to be featured, you may opt out at any time by providing written notice to privacy@scout7.ai. Upon receipt, Scout7 will cease using your Client Work in new marketing materials within thirty (30) days. Materials already distributed prior to your opt-out request are not subject to recall.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
